Implementation Is King!

I have been involved in ‘people work’ since I was 18. Youth work, social work, juvenile justice, therapist, coach, mentor, public speaker and so on.I’ve had the opportunity to work directly with thousands of people over the years.

Nearly every one of them wanted to change some aspect of their life, whether that was educational, social, emotional, health, financial, professional or personal.

The ones that I saw take off and ‘change their lives’ weren’t any better or even better resourced than the others. They did however do one thing that the others didn’t, they took consistent action.

In the 1956 Earl Nightingale put it this way, "Success is the progressive realization of a worthy ideal.What’s missing from that statement though is to begin.Just begin.And what I tell those I coach; is do it for you, because you said you would.

I’m a dyslexic, ‘school failure’, who wrote two books and spoke on stages around the world… because I began to write.All the while my inner voice was repeating all the criticisms my schoolteachers and bullies had said to me.Yet I began and I kept writing day after day until there were 33,000 words written.

Over 6,000 of those books made their way into my ideal prospect’s hands, into libraries, into hospitality schools and into the hands of some of the most respecter restaurateurs in this country.

Because I said I would write, and I did. Visualising, mantras and dream boards will get you started but until you implement no one is buying anything from you.

Implementation is King.
